YFSI Inaugurates DR-TB support groups in Ogun state
It was indeed another giant stride bringing Local Government supervisors, DR-TB patient and their treatment supporters together to share challenges, best practices and proffer way forward in ensuring a TB free society. The support groups were established in Sagamu, Ado-Odo Ota and Abeokuta.
Youths Have A Say Project
The YHAS was necessitated due to the fact that Nigeria youth’s population (about 60% of the entire population) have been marginalized and sidelined in the governance structure of the country most especially in issues related to their survival and involvement in the governance of the nation.
Keep It Green
As part of YFSI environmental support program, keep it green (KIG) focuses on issues of climate change while dealing with concerns of water, sanitation and hygiene. Strategies employed include advocacy, operation research, capacity building, social network marketing, community sensitization and mobilization.
Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Ogun State (SOVCOS) Project
Support for Orphans and Vulnerable Children in Ogun State (SOVCOS) was conceptualized in 2009 with the aim of supporting orphans and vulnerable children who are faced with challenges posed by loss of parents, poverty and negligence. OVCs are young people who are between ages 0-18 and have lost either of or both parents.
